Trope Group, Inc. is pleased to provide the following outline of services to our customers. This outline addresses our responsibilities through all phases of a typical project.
Project Coordination Team A full time project coordination team is assigned to manage your project, from programming through completion. Members of this team include: Project Planner, Design Support / CAD, Order Entry Manager, Installation / Service Manager, and Lead Installer.
Programming Programming is typically conducted through an interview process, and may include a visit and assessment of your current facility configuration. The purpose is to ascertain as much information as possible about the needs of the client, including their work process and flow, organization culture, and business objectives.
Space Planning A space plan is produced and evaluated and revisions are made as needed. Once a plan concept is approved, specification can begin.
Specification Full AutoCAD capabilities allow us to make changes quickly and efficiently as needed. Our CAP (Computer Aided Planning) program is used to produce running product lists for budget quotes, product ordering, and inventory records.
Documentation Trope Group provides scaled furniture floor plans, specifications, and finish / material samples for final approval prior to order entry.
Order entry Involves verification of specifications; quantity, pricing, and finishes. Herman Miller¿s Kiosk program allows Trope Group electronic order entry directly into the Herman Miller manufacturing system. Kiosk also provides always current order status, and order tracking information.
Expediting Includes accuracy check of manufacturer acknowledgments to purchase order, and periodic checks on shipment schedules to ensure on-time arrival.
Job site inspections Job site inspections will be conducted prior to installation to verify power locations, identify staging areas, and confirm building accessibility.
Receive product Receiving and inspecting of product will be carried out at the job site or our warehouse. Any necessary freight claims will be initialized. We will verify that the order is complete and accurate and any necessary discrepancy reports filed for resolution.
Warehousing In the event of any delays on the client¿s part, product will be held at our warehouse for 14 days at no additional charge. After 14 days, storage fees will be applicable.
Stage Product in Preparation for Installation We will stage and sort product in preparation for installation. Includes uncartoning, inspection and pre-assembly. Trope Group will be responsible for disposal of packaging material.
Recycling Trope Group recognizes the importance of our environment and takes steps to reduce waste within our organization. Furniture shipping cartons and packaging materials are recycled.
Installation A professional installation team will perform installation. Assembly of product will be conducted in accordance with the manufacturers¿ instructions and compliance with the floor plan. Trope Group installers and project team members will interface with other trades as needed. Work will also include ensuring system is level and complete with components and power, cleaned and ready for use. An electrician will be required for hard-wiring of the building power to the panel system. (Electrician to be provided by the client).
Punch list Trope Group will be responsible for the creation of an itemized list of any missing, damaged, or non-functioning product for rapid correction or replacement.
Follow-up Trope Group will track all punch list needs with manufacturer and perform service and warranty work as required. Trope Group will be available to address any reconfiguration plans or changes to the initial installation as required.
