Mid-Century Modern Exhibit at the Charles M. Schulz Museum

Many of the Peanuts comic strips of the late 1950s and 1960s exude the mid-century modern aesthetic of the day — the furniture, decorative pieces, and fabrics were hip, cool and up-to-date. In a series of vignettes these elements will be compared with the work of some prominent mid-century designers, including Ray and Charles Eames. Another component of the exhibition examines how the Schulz’s incorporated the design aesthetic in their lifestyle through photographs and ephemera.

Exhibit Dates: May 4 – October 27

It seems hard to believe, because the time has flown by since we started Trope Group in the fall of 2002. We are truly fortunate to have partnered with so many great North Bay organizations and worked on many interesting and meaningful projects. We look forward to the next ten years and beyond. On Friday October 19th we celebrated with a luncheon at Legends of Bennett Valley. The beautiful Sonoma County fall weather and patio overlooking the golf course provided a lovely setting for the event.

Trope Group has invested in this program because we believe this knowledge will help us better serve our Healthcare clients with the many great products available through Herman Miller, including nurse’s stations, pharmacy and lab environments, storage and transport solutions, headwall products, patient and guest seating, among others. The program included extensive on line training, projects and assignments and three weeks of on-site classes at Herman Miller in Michigan.

Impact Solano

Trope Group sponsored this event for the second year.  140 people attended the breakfast event that took place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fairfield.   We enjoyed hearing the regional economic outlook from Dr. Robert Eyler and the uplifting success stories of local businesses Anheuser Busch, Blu Homes and Partnership Healthplan of California.  The newest member of Trope Group’s team, Solano Account Executive Ellen Navarro continued to make great connections with local businesses.

Trope Group was again a presenting sponsor at this event, which celebrates the North Bay’s Best Places to Work.  Our President, Christina Pratt presented the awards to 7 time winners (and Trope Group clients) Burr Pilger Mayer and Exchange Bank.  “Clearly, these companies are getting it right.”  Since creating great places to work is near and dear to our hearts (and part of our mission statement), this event couldn’t be more relevant to us.  We were once again inspired by the creative ways these organizations honor and appreciate their employees.
