Congratulations to our Account Executive, Jennifer Sutter. She has been selected to be a participant in the Leadership Petaluma program.
Each year, more than two dozen men and women graduate from the 10-month long Leadership Petaluma program. Ten graduating classes have introduced tomorrow’s leaders to the community, and many of these graduates have gone on to important positions of leadership in our community, in business, government, and non-profits. This year, the eleventh class will follow in the tradition of more than 240 Leadership alums.
Jennifer’s background as an Interior Designer brings a valuable perspective to projects as she supports Trope Group’s clients in Petaluma and Marin County.
Jennifer resides in Petaluma with her husband and their daughter.
It is with heartfelt sadness we share news of the loss of a family member. Bob (Robert) White passed away this morning after battling cancer for the past several years. He was 70. Bob’s positive energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and everyone who knew him was better for it. He worked as a mover for many years and joined the Trope Group installation team in 2011. Bob was as strong as an ox and worked tirelessly, always with a smile on his face. Bobby did more on accident than most of us do on purpose. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

The twentieth century design duo of Charles and Ray Eames approached their craft through play and experimentation that was known to them as work. Their process of problem solving was inquisitive and often fun, resulting in projects that strayed from their original design goal to toys, films, and even museum exhibitions. In this exhibit, we take a look at three generations of Eames artist-designers and how play is work.
Trope Group is proud to sponsor this exhibition at the Petaluma Arts Center located across the river from historic downtown Petaluma, CA. This is a rare opportunity to experience the work of this extraordinary family in an intimate and interactive way. Visit and get inspired to make work more fun and take your play more seriously. We’ll see you there!
When: January 17 – March 8, 2015
Where: Petaluma Arts Center

Many of the Peanuts comic strips of the late 1950s and 1960s exude the mid-century modern aesthetic of the day — the furniture, decorative pieces, and fabrics were hip, cool and up-to-date. In a series of vignettes these elements will be compared with the work of some prominent mid-century designers, including Ray and Charles Eames. Another component of the exhibition examines how the Schulz’s incorporated the design aesthetic in their lifestyle through photographs and ephemera.
Exhibit Dates: May 4 – October 27

It seems hard to believe, because the time has flown by since we started Trope Group in the fall of 2002. We are truly fortunate to have partnered with so many great North Bay organizations and worked on many interesting and meaningful projects. We look forward to the next ten years and beyond. On Friday October 19th we celebrated with a luncheon at Legends of Bennett Valley. The beautiful Sonoma County fall weather and patio overlooking the golf course provided a lovely setting for the event.
Trope Group designer Bianca Kolonusz-Partee and Principal Charlie Nicholls have completed Herman Miller’s PEAK (Product Environment Application Knowledge) training program for Healthcare Environments. Trope Group has invested in this program because we believe this knowledge will help us better serve our Healthcare clients with the many great products available through Herman Miller, including nurse’s stations, pharmacy and lab environments, storage and transport solutions, headwall products, patient and guest seating, among others. The program included extensive on line training, projects and assignments and three weeks of on-site classes at Herman Miller in Michigan.
